The album was first teased in 2018 in a conversation with DJ Semtex. Following the announcement, Wizkid’s fans, known as Wizkid FC, lit up with excitement at the thought of a full body of work from the singer.
However, they were met with disappointment as he kept shifting the release date of the album so that many thought he would never release the album.
The latest shift in release date came on 15 October, but this was due to the End SARS protests.
Now, Wizkid has released the album and fans and music lovers have a thing or two to say about it.
First, a little background though. On the release day, which was supposed to be 29 October at 11:11 pm, Wizkid was not online and the album was not released.
Fans started to make memes about Wizkid hoarding the album, until finally, Wizkid returned online at 12:11 to share a link to the album, which shortly became available on streaming platforms.

Wizkid has shown he took time to make #MadeinLagos . His growth and versatility is too impressive to ignore. And then Starboy got the production on point, it’s too smooth. Worth the wait. This one enter! #MIL
