The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their second child together.
According to PEOPLE, a spokesperson for the family broke the news on Sunday, 14 February 2021.
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” the spokesperson said.
Meghan and Harry announced their pregnancy news with a stunning black-and-white photo that was taken remotely by their friend and longtime photographer, Misan Harriman, via an iPad.
The news was shared months after Meghan revealed that she went through a painful miscarriage.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have said a permanent goodbye to social media citing the “hate” they constantly have to endure online as the reason.
A source close to the couple told The Times of London that they have “no plans” to use social media for their new company, Archewell, and are “very unlikely” to resume use of their personal accounts in the foreseeable future. The former royal couple is understood to have become disillusioned by the “hate” they encountered on social media.
After the miscarriage, I am happy for them.
