To kick off this list of female celebrities who smoke is Kate Winslet who has admitted to her love of smoking, but isn’t quite sure that she wants the world to know.
In 2008, she told Vanity Fair during an interview: “I don’t smoke around my kids. Like that makes it any better that I smoke at all, because obviously it doesn’t.
“But I don’t smoke in the house. I mean, I had a cigarette this morning, which is because I hadn’t been. Coffee and a cigarette: bingo! I’m not sure if I want you to print that.”
2. Rihanna
Rihanna is famously known for her love of smoking marijuana. She has taken several pictures while smoking, and even shares pictures on Instagram with a joint between her lips.
While Rihanna has also smoked cigarettes early on in her life, but weed is no doubt the number one intoxicant in Rihanna’s life.
3. Miley Cyrus
Like Rihanna, singer and actress, Miley Cyrus also smokes cigarettes and marijuana. In 2014, she tweeted “2 months no cigs. #proudofmyself”.

Kate Beckinsale is very well known for her love of smoking. In fact, she is very open about it.
According to Daily Mail, she started smoking when she was 16 and has only quit once in her life: three years after she welcomed her daughter, Lily Mo Sheen.
That didn’t last though. These days, Kate can’t wait to light up a cigarette and she believes it makes her less boring.
She said: “I try and take lots of vitamins and I don’t drink. I do smoke, though, I’d be insufferable if I didn’t smoke. You’d have to push me off a balcony I’d be so boring.”
6. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is known for her love for cigarettes. While she admitted during an interview with Huffington Post that she smokes, she said it’s just once in a while with whisky to help her relax.
She said: “I don’t smoke. Well, maybe a single cigarette – with whisky – while I’m working, because it just frees my mind a little bit. But I care about my voice. The thrill of my voice being healthy on stage is really special. I take care of myself.”

In 2013, she told Harper’s Bazaar that her guilty pleasure is “My one light American Spirit that I smoke once a week, on Saturday night.”

9. Bella Hadid
Bella Hadid tries to hide her smoking from her fanbase, which consists of a lot of teenagers but she was outed in 2017.
In 2017, she was one of the celebrities who were caught taking selfies and smoking in the bathroom at the Met Gala.
However, in 2019, she said that she would try to give up smoking, once sharing a picture of herself indulging with the caption, “so far so good!”.
10. Adele
Adele has always been a chain smoker, smoking as many as 25 packs of cigarettes every day. In 2011, she decided to quit smoking but said again in 2016 that not smoking had left her with a weaker singing voice.
She told Canada’s etalk, “The people with the best voices, they always smoke. I’ve given up smoking and I’m convinced that’s made my voice weaker”. At the end of 2020, her friend shared a photo in which Adele can be seen holding a cigarette.
