He joins fellow technology founders, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates on the list, as they have also hit the mark, with Bezos hitting the mark first.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Facebook’s shares surged by 6% after the company launched Instagram Reels, which is a rival to the Chinese video-sharing app, Tik Tok.
This is coming after the American president, Donald Trump gave the company 45 days to sell the American version of their app before being banned in the country.
Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook in 2004 and currently owns a 13% stake in the company. So far in 2020, he has netted $22 billion.
