Ed Sheeran: everything you need to know about his anticipated 2022 tour

Ed Sheeran has finally announced the dates for his much anticipated 2022 tour after a two-year hiatus from performing.

Fans are excited about this upcoming tour because the singer has not held one since 2019. His Divide tour, which ended in 2019, became the highest-grossing of all time, making £567m ($776m) from 260 concerts and 8.5m ticket sales.

About Ed Sheeran 2022 tour

The singer teased his fans with a post on his official Instagram page about his tour, which he tagged, The Mathematics Tour.

He wrote: “Announcing something 8am tomorrow UK time that is basically the start of the next 3 years of my life, excited to be back at it. Look out for the announcement tomorrow.”

He named the tour after all of his albums, with the next one, “=”, set to be released on 19 October 2021, and its first single, “Bad Habits“, has spent 11 weeks at No 1. His latest single, “Shivers“, just came out as well.

How to get tickets to the tour

Tickets to Ed Sheeran’s tours are currently not available for purchase till 9 am on Saturday, 25 September.

Tickets for the London shows are £80 and £50, and £75 and £45 regionally. All tickets are subject to a maximum 10% booking fee, plus a maximum £2.75 transaction charge per order.

A strict limit of six tickets per show date per transaction has been implemented to give as many people as possible a fair chance to buy tickets.
