Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor has denied fighting Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet of MTV VMAs 2021.
In pictures taken by paparazzi, Conor and the Kelly were spotted yelling at one another at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In one of the photos, the mixed martial artist could be seen seemingly throwing a punch while Megan Fox, Kelly’s girlfriend, was trying to calm Kelly down, placing her hand on his chest.
Now, a representative of Conor McGregor has denied the report that the martial artist fought MGK (as Machine Gun Kelly is fondly called) because he denied him a photo request.
Speaking with Us Weekly on Sunday, 12 September 2021, the representative said: “This is totally false. [There was] no photo request.” He went on to mention that Kelly attended Conor’s last fight and that the athlete ‘appreciates all his fans’.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, McGregor stated that ‘absolutely nothing’ happened. Explaining further, he said:
“I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy. Nothing happened with me; I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox made their relationship known in May 2020, posting PDA pictures on the internet. Before the alleged altercation, the actress had stunned viewers in a sheer Mugler dress, and her boyfriend wore a red Dolce and Gabbana suit.
As for the mixed martial arts fighter, in 2018, he had gotten into a fight at the Barclays Center. He threw a dolly and other objects at a moving bus ridden by Khabib Nurmagomedov and other UFC fighters.
He was then charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief, as well as menacing and reckless endangerment at the time. The court subsequently ordered him to perform five days of community service and attend anger management classes.
In September 2020, McGregor also punched a man at a Dublin pub and pleaded guilty to assault and was made to pay a fine after. We don’t know if Kelly or Fox are planning to press charges at this time because the sportsman record is not exactly sparkling clean.
