Burna Boy gets a second consecutive Global Album category nod at the 2021 Grammy Awards, this time for his massive 2020 Twice As Tall project, he also got recognition by other internationally acclaimed award bodies as well.
After losing the 2020 Grammy’s award for Best Global Music Album to Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy is back in contention for the award again.
This time, his 2020 Twice As Tall album got a nomination at the 63rd Grammy Awards. It vies for the crown with four other projects, namely: Fu Chronicles by American band, Antibalas; Agora by Brazilian-American singer, Bebel Gilberto; Love Letters by British-Indian composer, Anoushka Shankar; and Amadjar by Mali based group, Tinariwen.
Many fans of Afrobeats and Burna Boy have expressed hope that he will win the 2021 Grammy award for Twice As Tall, claiming that its competition is not very strong.
Burna Boy gained another #Grammys nomination as #TwiceAsTall got nominated for “Best Global Music Album”. The only Afrobeats album/artist to be nominated. Burna is favourite to win this. Thrice As Tall if not!

If either of Wizkid or Burna Boy don't win the Grammys this time, we're all going to Los Angeles to stage the Grandmother of all protests…
