She prefaced her message by saying that there are people on her team who advised her against speaking out, but she had to.
She added that while she has not had an unpleasant experience with SARS, she knows that a lot of her fans (called cupcakes) have had unpleasant experiences with them, and so she cares.
She then expressed her support for the ongoing protest against police brutality and called on the government to end SARS.
She wrote: “Going against the advice of those around me, but it doesn’t feel right. Silence can say so much. My fellow Nigerians, forgive me for taking so long to comment…
