Millie Brady was born Camilla Eve Brady on 24 December 1993 to English parents in London, England, United Kingdom. No doubt, you will have surmised that ‘Millie’ is actually her nickname coined from her birth name ‘Camilla’. It has since become the name that many people know her by.
Brady grew up in London with her parents and her older sister. Her family moved around England a lot, rarely settling in one place for long. There is no information on the names of her parents or her sister but we found that she and Millie still live together in Hampstead, North London.
The actress is an alumnus of St Mary’s School Ascot, a Roman Catholic independent day and boarding school for girls in Ascot, Berkshire, England. While still in school, she started a career as a model.

Eventually, it paid off. She landed her first major acting role in 2014 at the age of 21 playing Violette Selfridge in Mr Selfridge Season 2. Brady had a recurring role on the British period drama television series about Harry Gordon Selfridge and his department store, Selfridge & Co, in London, set from 1908 to 1928.
Following her big break on Mr Selfridge, in 2015, she also starred in Legend as Joan Collins along with Tom Hardy, Emily Browning, Tara Fitzgerald and Taron Egerton. The film is adapted from John Pearson’s book The Profession of Violence: The Rise and Fall of the Kray Twins, which deals with their career and the relationship that bound them together. It follows their gruesome career to life imprisonment in 1969.

According to her Wikipedia page, she was born during the period when the Vikings were invading England. When she was a child, the Danish Vikings ruled most of England but her father, Alfred, won a decisive battle, the Battle of Edington, which led to English kingdoms gaining some control of the western half of Mercia.
Æthelred, Lord of the Mercians, accepted Alfred’s overlordship and the former adopted the title King of the English, claiming to rule all English people not living in areas under Viking control. In the mid-880s, Alfred sealed the strategic alliance between the surviving English kingdoms by marrying Æthelflæd to Æthelred.
Aethelflaed in The Last Kingdom
Millie Brady started appearing in The Last Kingdom series as Aethelflaed in Season 2. The Danes kidnapped the character when they raided the camp she was in while her husband, Aethelred, and his army went on a futile attack.
She becomes attached to one of her captors Erik and it further leads the plot of the series. Aethelflaed was the major character following her appearance on the show and she also appeared in subsequent seasons three and four.
