A Nigerian student Oluwaseun Mary Olaniyan has narrated the story of how she escaped kidnappers after eleven days in their den.
Olaniyan who is a history student of Adeyemi College of Education explained that she was kidnapped by four men in a vehicle painted with the colours of Ondo state taxi service.
She noted that the sad experience occurred around 6:30pm outside the school’s main gate.
The young lady said she became unconscious after she boarded a taxi and woke up in a building located inside a forest.
She noted that they all suspected that the men came to collect human flesh from the kidnappers because they went away with something concealed in a cellophane bag.
Olaniyan revealed that she was able to escape by the grace of God because the kidnappers were arguing amongst themselves.
The lady said: “I trekked inside the forest until I got to Ile-Oluji/Ipetu Ijesa road where I met a lady and asked for direction to Ondo town. The lady told me I was very close to Ile-Oluji. When I got to Igbo Oja, I made efforts to reach my mother on her phone.”
“I contacted my mother. My father immediately called me and I informed him that I had reached Itanla junction along Ondo/Akure highway.”
Thankfully, she is back with her parents.
