Nigeria’s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development has launched NEXIT portal, for exited N-Power beneficiaries to apply for CBN empowerment options.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development; exited N-Power beneficiaries can use the NEXIT portal to access government aids.
“The platform which was developed in collaboration with the CBN will enable Exited N-Power Beneficiaries to log on and apply for the various economic, empowerment, and entrepreneurship options provided by the CBN,” part of the statement read.
Honourable Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq assures members of the public of the ministry’s dedication. She also congratulated the exited N-Power beneficiaries and wished them success.

Explaining the importance of the new portal, her office further said; “The NEXIT portal is to determine the suitability of the beneficiaries for the CBN affiliated programs and is dependent on meeting the criteria and conditions set by the CBN for the said programs.”
She thanked the CBN Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele CON, for his support. Also, she mentioned that her ministry remained committed to the vision of the Buhari administration to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years.
In June 2020, the Federal Government of Nigeria announced disengaging the batches A and B volunteers of the programme. Thus, it allowed them get into the labour force through several empowerment programmes.
Now, with the new NEXIT portal; people who exited N-Power can still get help until they can sustain themselves fully. Note that only those who had partaken in the N-Power programme can use the NEXIT portal.
