The National Chairman of the Labour Party has announced that his mother had been abducted by unknown Gunmen.
Dr. Mike Omotosho confirmed that she was kidnapped in their family house at No 23, Lobalade Street, Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State and said the kidnap must have taken place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Mrs. Elizabeth Omotosho is the name of the victim and she is 71 years old and her son has been making frantic efforts to get her back as he contacted the Kwara Police Headquarters as well as the one in Abuja too.
He pleaded with members of the public to feel free to approach the police or he with any information they think might be useful and told residents of the state not to panic that they remained as safe as they were before.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Kwara State confirmed the report that the woman was indeed kidnapped and they have started trying to get her back and return her to her family in good health and in good time.
No contact with the kidnappers has been reported yet and they have made no demands for a ransom.
