United States President-elect Joe Biden‘s Presidential Inaugural event will span into five days as the committee has announced additional programming.
This announcement comes in advance of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on 20 January.
The theme of the events which is expected to last five days is “America United.”
Lately, America has been through a lot, especially since the Capitol riot which led to the Donald Trump suspension party as digital giants suspended the embattled President of the United States, Donald Trump, from posting on his dedicated channels on their platform.
There is also the matter of the impeachment of Donald Trump by the House of Representatives for “incitement of insurrection” with the recent riot at the Capitol.
This makes him the first President in the history of the United States to be impeached twice even though the Senate on both counts stays with him. He was first impeached by the Democratic-led House of Representatives in December 2019 as he was accused of pressuring the Ukrainian government into investigating Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son.
