DJ Cuppy‘s Gold Gala has been highly anticipated for a while now, and it has finally happened!

The gala was held on Sunday, 10 November, and saw Femi Otedola donate a whopping sum of five billion naira to the Save the Children foundation through his daughter DJ Cuppy’s foundation.

The donation was announced by his daughter, Tolani Otedola, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. Aliko Dangote did not lag behind as he also donated the sum of 100 million on the same night.

“We have more than 50, 000 orphans in Borno State. We are working so hard to make sure that most of these children are eating well and equally going to school. I will like to support these poor little children in Borno State with the sum N100 million,” Dangote says.

In attendance were the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo and Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu. Also at spotted at the event was former Edo State governor and Labour Union leader, Adams Oshiomole, among others.
