The move appears to be part of the Lagos State government to force operators of interstate transportation to relocate their business to motor parks at Ojodu Berger and Ojota. The instruction is part of the plans of the government to utilise spaces under flyovers, the Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Anofiu Elegushi, reportedly said.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde, insinuates that the interstate transport operators has not been tidy in conducting their business, and affirmed that a seven-day quick notice has been served to them.
