Lagos state governor, Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu, and his wife had their Easter service online due to the lockdown order in the state.
After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, which is also known as the Coronavirus, the president placed Lagos state, Ogun state, and FCT on lockdown for 14 days.
Today is the Easter Sunday and Christians all over the world are celebrating the resurrection of Christ.
And governor Sanwo-Olu isn’t left out as he joined an online service with his wife.
Taking to his official Instagram page, the Governor posted pictures from the service with his wife.
He writes: “My wife and I worshipped online for Easter, praying for our family, Lagos and Nigeria.
“Easter offers us an opportunity to rethink our relationships as individuals, as communities and as a Nation as we face these extraordinary times together.
“We have strengthened for the work ahead and pray that the omnipresent God we serve, visits every home at this time. Amen.”
