Former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) is standing trial for alleged misappropriation of N1.4 billion security vote money
He is not the only one arraigned, also standing trial on the said case were Shuaibu Salisu, a former Director of Finance, Office of the National Security Adviser, and Aminu Baba-Kusa, a former NNPC Executive Director, and two others.

We can’t really follow up on the numbers as they’re staggering: 19 counts bordering on alleged diversion of N13.6bn since 2015. But below are the summaries as we gathered them from Punch newspaper.
#4. N50m was forwarded to the account of Baba-Kusa between May 4 and May 6, 2015.
#5. N150m paid to Medical Plastics Ltd. owned by Baba-Kusa and his wife, Hauwa,
#6. N200m transferred to Acacia Holdings Ltd. account with the United Bank for Africa on – October 9, 2014.
#7. N600m was transferred from ONSA’s account to Acacia on April 17, 2015.
Counsel to defendants raised objections on the ground that the stated amounts were not legible in the copies of the documents served to him. As it were, the presiding trial judge, Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf, agreed and deferred the case until 13th and 14th December for further hearing.
