The daily updates are shared on NCDC’s official Twitter account and provide Nigerians with an accurate and trustworthy means of tracking the Coronavirus cases in the country.
According to the latest report, 296 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria in the past day. This is a huge increase from the previous day’s numbers.
This is because of the huge jump in the new positive cases recorded by Plateau State. The state recorded 183 new cases of Coronavirus within the last day.
Following Plateau State is Lagos State with 33 new cases. After this is FCT with 15 new cases.
These numbers bring the total number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria to 55,456. Additionally, 43,334 people have been treated and discharged from isolation centres.
However, 1,067 people have sadly died from Coronavirus complications. See the full report below:
