These updates are released daily on NCDC’s official Twitter account where similar information on Coronavirus is also shared.
According to the latest update, Plateau still recorded the highest single-day jump in Coronavirus cases. Plateau recorded 69 new cases and Abuja followed with 41 new cases.
Behind Abuja was Lagos State with 21 new cases. Delta and Kaduna States followed with 14 new cases each.
Now, the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria has now increased to a total of 53,727. 41,314 people have successfully received treatment and been discharged from isolation centres.
Unfortunately, a total of 1,011 people have also died as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
