COVID-19 is the current global pandemic which is caused by the Coronavirus. From the reports, it looks like the virus is on a downward slope in many cities, including Lagos and Abuja.
According to the most recent report, 221 new cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, from different states in the country. The state with the highest number of cases is Plateau State with 60 new cases.
Abuja recorded 33 new cases while Kaduna followed with 26 new cases. This brings the total number of new cases to 53,021.
In addition to this, 40,281 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres. However, 1,010 people have succumbed to the virus.
