These updates are shared daily on NCDC’s official Twitter account and help Nigerians to accurately monitor the progress of the virus.
At the moment, the reports point to the fact that the number of cases within the country is currently on the rise, which does not bode well for the country and her people.
According to NCDC’s latest report, Nigeria recorded 170 new cases of coronavirus in the last day.
Out of those 170 new cases, 106 were recorded in Lagos State alone. After that is FCT with 25 new cases and then Oyo State with 14 new cases.
This brings the total number of recorded cases to 62,691 confirmed since the start of the pandemic. Additionally, 58,430 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres. Unfortunately, 1,144 deaths have been recorded.
