The number of cases recorded on Monday, 7 September were definitely higher than those from the day before. An additional 155 new cases of Coronavirus have now been recorded in Nigeria.
According to the report released by NCDC on their official Twitter account, Lagos recorded the highest number with 42 new cases while Plateau State recorded 25 new cases.
Rivers State was not far behind with 16 new cases of Coronavirus recorded in the state. These numbers bring the total number of Coronavirus cases to 55,160.
43,231 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres while 1,061 people have sadly died from Coronavirus complications.
