These daily updates are shared on NCDC’s official Twitter account and help Nigerians to monitor the state of Coronavirus in the country.
People who have been following these numbers will notice that it has been steadily rising for the last few days.
According to the latest report, 150 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria. Out of these new cases, 89 were recorded in Lagos State.
Following Lagos State is Rivers State with 19 new cases. After that is Ogun State with 11 new cases.
These new numbers bring the total number of Coronavirus cases to 62,521 confirmed since the start of the pandemic in Nigeria.
Additionally, 58,249 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres.
Sadly, 1,141 deaths have also been recorded since the start of the pandemic. See the full report below:
