These updates are shared on NCDC’s official Twitter account in the early hours of each day and provide Nigerians with an efficient way of monitoring the spread of the virus in the country.
According to the latest report, 148 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded on 15 October.
Of this, 66 new cases were recorded in Lagos State, 25 new cases were recorded in FCT, and 13 new cases in Oyo State.
In total, 60,982 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria since the pandemic started. Additionally, 52,194 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres.
Tragically, 1,116 deaths have been recorded since the start of the pandemic in Nigeria. See a full breakdown of the report below:
