After the break during which NCDC did not share the daily updates on their official Twitter account, they have now resumed normal activities.
Since the start of normal activities, the numbers have continued to climb. The most recent daily Coronavirus count has been reported to be 143, recorded within a single day.
Of these 143 new cases, 82 were recorded in Lagos State. 20 were recorded in FCT and 9 in River State.
The cases in Lagos State are obviously climbing. These numbers bring the total number of Coronavirus cases to 62,371. 58,095 people have been successfully treated and discharged.
Unfortunately, 1,139 deaths have also been recorded since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
