According to the latest report, 143 new cases of COVD-19 were recorded across different states in Nigeria.
According to the report, Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 35 new cases, followed by Kaduna State with 21 new cases and then Lagos State with 19 new cases.
The latest report spells good news for Nigeria as it looks like the number of new cases continues to be on a decline. So far, in total, Nigeria has recorded 54,008 new cases since the start of the pandemic in the country.
Additionally, 41,638 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres. 1,013 people have unfortunately succumbed to the virus.
