These updates are known to be shared daily on NCDC’s official Twitter account and provide an accurate way for Nigerians to monitor the state of Coronavirus in the country.
According to the latest report, 118 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in different states in the country.
The report states that 51 of these new cases were recorded in Lagos State while 26 new cases were recorded in Rivers State.
Imo State follows with 12 new cases of Coronavirus recorded within the state.
These new numbers bring the total number of confirmed cases to 61,558.
Furthermore, 56,697 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres while 1,125 deaths have sadly been recorded since the start of the pandemic.
