Nigeria has recorded an additional 304 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on the 4th of August.
According to the centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 44,433 confirmed The centre also stated that 31,851 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 910 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the night of Monday, 4th of August was 11,672

Looks like the numbers are going down for real. But has the government done differently these last weeks? Or were they reporting fake numbers?
