Nigeria has recorded an additional 443 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on the 7th of August.
According to the Centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 45,687 confirmed The centre also stated that 32,637 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 936 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the night of Friday, 7th of August was 12,114
