Nigeria has recorded an additional 758 coronavirus cases according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on Tuesday, 15th December.
According to the centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 74,132 confirmed. The centre also stated that 66,494 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 1,200 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the night of Tuesday, 15th December is 6,438
