Nigeria has recorded an additional 137 coronavirus cases, according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC announced the recent update in its usual manner on the centre’s social media accounts late on Tuesday, 3 November 2020.
According to the NCDC, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 63,173 confirmed while the centre also stated that 59,634 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged. The COVID-19 infection is caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2 and 1,151 people are reported to have died from COVID-19 related complications.
The NCDC’s recent update means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the time of the announcement on Tuesday stands at 2,388.
