Nigeria has recorded an additional 180 coronavirus cases, according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC made the revelation during its nightly update on coronavirus in Nigeria via its Twitter handle on the 11th of November 2020.
According to the Centre, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 64,516 confirmed. The Centre also stated that 60,737 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2.
Meanwhile, 1,162 people have died from COVID-19 related complications. This means that the active number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigerians as of the night of Wednesday 11th of November was 2,617.
Taking to it’s Instagram page, NCDC tweeted: “180 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria:
