The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed eight additional cases of Coronavirus, also known as Covid-19 in Nigeria.
Since the confirmation of the index case in Nigeria, the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria has been rapidly growing.
A tweet by the NCDC stated that two of the new cases were confirmed in the FCT, four in Oyo, one in Kaduna and one in Osun state.
The numbers were confirmed at 10:40 pm on 28th March bringing the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 97 cases.
Although, Lagos State is still the worst-hit state in Nigeria and has recorded 59 confirmed cases.
