Bill Gates reveals he told Donald Trump to get ready for pandemic before he became president

Gates, who has been vocal about the pandemic, revealed that weeks before Trump became president, he warned him to prepare.

Gates has funded a series of programs all in a bid to find a cure for the virus which has killed over 80 thousand people in the US and almost 300 thousand people all over the world.

Gates revealed that he met with both Trump and presidential hopeful, Hilary Clinton in 2016 to warn of the coming pandemic. According to the Wall Street Journal, Gates also lamented not doing more to warn about the virus so that countries could prepare better for the virus.

“Looking back I wish I had done more to call attention to the danger,” he told the journal.

“I feel terrible. The whole point of talking about it was that we could take action and minimize the damage.”

“If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than a war,’ Gates said at the time. Not missiles, but microbes. Next time, we might not be so lucky,” Gates said

Now, the billionaire is investing millions of dollars to try to develop vaccines and create disease tracking systems.
