Ben Murray-Bruce offers to bring Bishop Kukah and President Buhari together

Founder of Silverbird Group and former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has offered to bring Bishop Kukah and President Buhari together.

Bishop Kukah had been trending online for some days now because of a statement he made about President Buhari. According to a The Cable news report; Matthew Kukah, bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese accused President Muhammadu Buhari of nepotism.

He made the statement during his 25 December, Christmas Day, message. Excerpts from the message reads;

“Every honest Nigerian knows that there is no way any non-Northern Muslim President could have done a fraction of what President Buhari has done by his nepotism and gotten away with it.

“There would have been a military coup a long time ago or we would have been at war. The President may have concluded that Christians will do nothing and will live with these actions.”

Bishop Kukah’s statement had triggered a lot of unrest online with some factions maintaining that he made an honest utterance while supporters of the president tagged the clergyman’s message as treasonous.

Thus, to try to reduce the friction, Ben Murray-Bruce tweeted:

The conversations are still ongoing over what the Bishop said and the ways it can be translated.
