The twin duo of the now-defunct Psquare group, Peter and Paul Okoye, might be estranged from each other but there’s a common love that has proven to transcend their differences– their love for Chelsea Football Club.
The brothers, who have recorded monumental successes in their music careers, celebrated Chelsea winning the highly coveted Champions League trophy on Saturday in a special way. Chelsea beat Manchester City to win their second UCL title.
Paul shared a video of himself throwing money in the pool for his friends, screaming, “We are champions,” in obvious excitement.

Peter on the other hand was as excited as his twin brother even as he shared his celebrations on his Instagram page.

The twins are huge football enthusiasts and they even played with fellow Jos-born Mikel Obi at an academy while growing up. The brothers have in the past revealed that if they hadn’t gone into music, they would’ve most likely ended up playing professional football.

In 2020, the brothers shared on their social media page that they were back together as a music group but no visible project or music has been put out since then. While the controversy surrounding their break-up as well as the sordid details of their messy conflict aren’t trending anymore, the duo appears to have only just reunited on paper.
It remains to be seen if they would still thrill their fans one more time with a reunion project. If they do, they’ll be following in the footsteps of 2Baba, Faze and Blackfaze of the Plantashun Boiz who released “Plan B” several years after their messy and highly publicized split.
