Naomi Campbell welcomes first daughter at 50

Naomi Campbell announced welcoming a daughter on Tuesday, 18 May 2021. This is the first child of the 50-year-old model who has spent nearly 43 years in the industry.

Campbell posted a picture of her daughter’s feet with the following statement: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, so honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

Following the announcement, singer Lenny Kravitz, actress Genevieve Nnaji, Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian, Adut Akech, Marc Jacobs, and other celebrities sent her congratulatory messages.

Naomi Campbell had expressed her desire to be a mother when speaking with the British newspaper Evening Standard back in 2017. She mentioned that she thought about having children “all the time”.
