Saweetie has joined the queue of celebrities to salute Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” after the rapper claims she loves the afrobeat torchbearer’s latest album as it suits every mood.
This was during her GOAT Talk interview with Complex, where she lauded the effort the Nigerian superstar put into making the album.
Saweetie claims the “Made In Lagos” album is one she can listen to whenever and wherever.
When the American rapper was asked about her favourite album, Saweetie decided on Wizkid’s 2020 project. It ‘suits every vibe,’ she said before describing it as the greatest recent record she’s heard.
Wizkid released “Made In Lagos” during the lockdown caused by the coronavirus outbreak, and the album has continued to gain relevance several months after.
In addition, the Lagos-born afrobeats star recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary of his debut album, “Superstar”, with a docuseries as he continues to grow his influence globally.
Wizkid has also teased plans for the #MadeinLagos tour with dates and location not yet released, but fans already stoked and ready for it to commence.
