Prior to this time, artistes like P-square (who are on the verge of a massive break up), Dbanj, Tuface, have been list toppers when it came to pay per show ranking.
However, according to Naij.com, show promoter and artiste manager Alex Ozone has reportedly made it known to them that Nigerians are looking in the wrong direction. In a statement the website released some hours ago, Alex is quoted as naming Olamide popularly called Baddo as the highest paid Nigerian artiste currently, read below:
“The business doesn’t have a fixed price, it depends on the artiste; I cannot tell you how much each of them is worth. But like I told you, I have worked with Wizkid, Tekno, Oritsefemi, Patoranking, Davido, Terry G, Kiss Daniel, YQ, Skales, Olamide and Timaya. They are all good, they know their worth, but in the whole world Olamide has the highest rate”.
Like he has hinted in several songs and like anyone who is into the streets is aware, Olamide is the most loved musician currently in Nigeria and someone even said Olamide only has to cough into a microphone and take it to the studio then Young John would make it a trendy track, but to his credit, Olamide never dishes out thrash.
What is your take on Alex Ozone’s statement?
