The skintight singer was introduced by no other person but the duo of James Corden and Zane Lowe during an episode of the Emmy-winning American talk show to perform a Fela-inspired medley of two of his biggest songs, “In The Morning” and “Leg Over“.
Similarly, Mr. Eazi is also the first African artist to be featured on the Apple Music series Up Next. Apple launched the series in April 2017 to celebrate emerging artists from around the world.
In its first edition Up Next featured 24-year-old rapper and singer from Atlanta, 6lack (“Prblms”); followed by 20-year-old Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid (“Don’t Kill My Vibe”) in May; and 19-year-old r&b singer Khalid (“Location”) in June. Mr Easi was featured in the July edition of the series.
