The actor and rapper was a guest on Pulse TV’s Loose Talk Podcast where he spoke about his rap beef with MI, his personal life, and his music.
Vector joined hosts Ayomide, Jess, Moni, and Steve to discuss his legacy and the next steps for his music.
The full story:
It is unclear how the rap battle between Vector and M.I started. Vector released a rap diss out of the blue titled ‘Tetracycling’. On it, he rapped:
“All liars go to hell, guess am bringing the fire
I see u have dogs, am bringing some lions…
Mr incredible I hear watin u talk ooo
But u know lyricist on the roll is based on the bars tho
Will shock u like Snapchat, I tap before the shot…”
His lyrics, ‘but u know lyricist on the roll is based on the bars tho,’ supports the claim that the diss started when Vector won Lyricist on the Roll at the 2015 Headies. Following Vector’s win, M.I. questioned the award show’s decision to hand the award to Vector.
M.I’s reply to ‘Tetracycling’ was titled ‘The Viper’. The Chocolate City boss claimed the song was not a rap, rather a piece of advice to Vector to stop biting the fingers that fed him.
Vector then issued a reply to M.I’s song, titled ‘Judas the Rat’. Celebrities like Victoria Kimani stood behind Vector after he released this song.
The story is not over though. Nigerian ‘big boys’ Willie XO and Hushpuppi both volunteered 40 million Naira to have an official rap battle between M.I and Vector. Watch WillieXO’s video below:

M.I has, however, remained silent on the subject. Hopefully, Vector spoke on this and more during his interview with Loose Talk Podcast. Watch that video below.
