American rapper, record producer, record executive and entrepreneur who is known as Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has changed his name yet again, this time opting to be called Sean ‘Love’ Combs.
Over the years, Sean ‘Love’ Combs has repeatedly changed his name and has gone by Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Puffy, and just plain old Diddy.
But now, judging by a recently shared photo of his driver’s license, the rapper would now be known as Sean Love Combs.
The multi-Grammy Award winner was born Sean John Combs in 1969 in the city of New York and when he started out as a rapper, he transitioned to Puff Daddy.
He then morphed to P. Diddy but five years down the line he dropped the P and became “Diddy,” which was later extended to incorporate the group Diddy-Dirty Money.
Back in 2017, on his birthday, he released a video on his Twitter account claiming he had decided to go by his new name ‘Love’ aka Brother Love.
I decided to change my name again!

He claims he is something different as opposed to what he used to be when explaining his reason for changing his name again.
His last studio album, Press Play was released in 2006 and it hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Also, the last time he had his name as the lead artist on a track was in 2017 when he released “Watcha Gon’ Do?,” featuring the late Notorious B.I.G. and Rick Ross.
He also accepted the Industry Icon award at the Pre-Grammy Gala And Salute To Industry Icons in Los Angeles in 2020.
