According to the deputy head of the West Java broadcasting commission, “the lyrics of the songs… contain p---------y, pornographic association, and obscenity.”
The banned songs may only be broadcast between 10 pm and 3 am.
A selection of western pop songs, including Ed Sheeran‘s Shape of You, Ariana Grande’s Love Me Harder, DJ Khaled and Rihanna’s Wild Thoughts have been deemed offensive and can only be played between the hours of 10 pm and 3 am.
