The draw for both the European Champions League and Europa Cup semi-finals have been concluded this afternoon – Friday 21 April.
For the Champions League, both Madrid clubs, Real and Atletico are drawn against each other, which effectively erases the possibility of a Spanish duel in the final to be played 3rd June 2017 in Cardiff, Wales UK. The other semi-final will be played between Monaco (France) and Juventus (Italy). The first leg of the semi-finals is scheduled to hold between 2 and 3 May 2017, with the 2nd leg to be played a week later.
Meanwhile, for the Europa Cup, Ajax (Netherland) will play against Lyon (France) while Manchester United (England) will play (Spain). The first leg and second legs of the semi-finals will be played on the 4th and 11th of May respectively. The final of the Europa Cup will be played on 24 May 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden.
