Hugh Hefner who helped put nudity in the American mainstream is dead.
He was aged 91 years old and he outlived the sexual revolution pushing his magazine into the public’s face. He told AFP that he would like to be remembered as one who had a positive impact on the changing social values of his time, his motivation came from not wanting to live the zipped up lifestyle his parents lived during their time.
His marriage to his University girlfriend lasted 10 years from 1949 to 1959 and they produced two children. Even in his later part of life, he still frequented nightclubs and indulged in debauchery with doses of Viagra from time to time. He reportedly died of natural causes.
