Pep Guardiola who started his coaching career with Barcelona and extended his success albeit muted to Bayern Munich where he failed to win the Champions League hinted that he would like to be in a World Cup as a coach.
When interviewed on BBC’s Football Focus about coaching a national side, he replied:
“Spain I think, I would like to be a manager in a World Cup and the European Cup. I would like to feel that.”
Guardiola is now in charge of Manchester City after joining the English club last season and he is yet to lead them to silverware though there are positive vibes coming from the displays by the team this season.
They face a tough opponent in Chelsea later today.
