According to the website, Movie Web, Nicolas Cage is set to voice Spider-Man Noir, a more sombre version of our hero, who was around during the Great Depression in the United States in 1933.
The movie will be its own stand-alone narrative outside of the current Spider-Man franchise set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Rather than starring Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, the movie will star Miles Morales’s Spider-Man with Peter Parker serving as a mentor character. In the movie, Miles Morales discovers his new powers as a Spider-man and comes across a whole slew of other Spider-Men, including Spider-Gwen.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released on December 12, two months after Venom starring Tom Hardy (which will be out on October 10).
