Singer Simi just dropped an “impulsive” new single titled, Small Ting, a cheeky and adorable new song.
We would think Simi would be busy promoting her third studio album, Omo Charlie Champagne, which dropped last month but when you can the creativity itch, we guess there’s no stopping you.
She actually self-produced the single, not surprising as the singer recently took some a few production classes. What better way to put what you learnt to use than to go on and actually produce? That’s what the singer did.

She says of her experimentation:
“This is the actual first beat I’ve made. It was a project for class. I wanted it to mean something, and so I wrote/recorded a song on it.”
In the song, Simi melodious voice sings about how in today’s society, mountains are made out of molehills for no apparent reason.
The singer also reveals that in addition to producing the song, she also wrote, mixed and mastered it.
Check it out right here and tell us what you think. Happy listening.
