Last year, Efe released Wonderland, her first single off of her upcoming EP, Magic, which landed many spots on Cobhams Asuquo’s Top 12 Countdown. And now she is back with another hit, Nigerian Dream.
Efe uses the Nigerian Dream to criticise the societal norm of sweeping difficulties under the carpet and remaining in toxic situations for the sake of appearances. She calls out the subtle stigma against depression, a stigma that leaves many Nigerians pretending to be happy.
