It’s dropping on the 27th of September 2019.
In less than 10 days, fans (and critics alike) of Kanye West‘s music will access to the rapper’s upcoming album titled, Jesus Is King.
Previously titled Yandhi, an image listing the 12-song album on Kanye West’s website shows the date clearly written alongside the songs’ titles.
The rapper also confirmed the release date of the during an appearance at an event in Batesville, Indiana per the Hypebeast. Kanye West can be heard saying in a video shared by the outlet: “Jesus Is King is out September 27th, so let’s continue this…”
Per the image on Kanye West’s website, the album will include the following songs:
- Jesus Is King
- Glade
- Garden
- Selah
- God Is
- Baptized
- Sierra Canyon
- Hands On
- Wake The Dead
- Water
- Through The Valley
- Sunday Sweet
While this looks like the final selection for the Jesus Is King album, it’s not implausible that Kanye West may still twerk the content. Furthermore, it’s not known whether this represents the arrangement of the songs on the album.
It would also be recalled that Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, had tweeted the image from the website way back on 29 August, which gave hint to the release date. At the time, Kim Kardashian had captioned the image with a simple prayer emoji, leaving fans to speculate that the date on the image was the likely release date for her husband’s Jesus Is King album.

Now with Kanye’s confirmation, fans can no longer guess but are assured that would get their hands on the album come 27th September 2019.
